Hi, thanks to all of you for your help. I believe our team is now complete. I just wanted to mention a few general topics on "how to react" upon a question that's mailed to you, and a few administratory notes. - You will receive the mails as sent by myself. The email address of the sender is in the header, so you'll have to cut&paste it from there. Do not simply hit 'reply', as this would send the reply to myself. - Sometimes, there are tiny spelling mistakes in the email address. If they're easy to correct, like '*.ecu' instead of '.edu', correct it. In some cases, it's also possible to derive the correct address from the site name the email was submitted from. In one instance, I got a mail from 'somebody' without any site mentioned. But it was submitted from '*.aol.com', so I knew the real internet address was 'somebody@aol.com'. If the address is really invalid, feel free to ignore the mail. I've warned people on the page to double check it. If they still fail to spell it correctly, it's their problem. Only if you _really_ want to answer (I know how awkward it is to write a lengthy reply just to see it bounce), you can always ask the Postmaster on that site (postmaster@ .... ). - I don't expect you to answer questions instantaneously. Take your time, and answer whenever you like. The usual 'turnaround time' should pro- bably be around 48 hours, but 7 days should be the upper limit. - If you receive a question you cannot answer, dig up the RAD Hosts list and broadcast it to everyone of us or forward it to our appropriate guru. If that's yourself :), try to recherche the answer. If you can't find it in the above mentioned 7 days, or believe from the start you can never find out, send an email and tell so. - Don't hesitate to point people to the FAQs, or just to mention a Web site where the problem is discussed. In the first case, you should also mention from where (s)he can get the FAQ, or offer to email it to her/him. - Be friendly :) Although I, too, made an exception once as being asked for locations of x-rated drawings of Disney characters. - BTW, if you "become unavailable" for some period of time, maybe when you're taking a vacation, it's no problem for me to remove you from the list for this time and set you up again afterwards. Just to achieve our 7 day reply time. So much for the intro :) Any comments? If so, please group-reply, so that we can discuss everything together. Thanks again, Frank
